Untimely death of singer froze my music,
The cheerful life soon became static.
The roads became barren and lonely was crowd,
She began to listen to rock, metal loud.
Her love for classical vocal remained inside,
Every melody would wash over her like a tide.
She finally felt, it was all in vain;
To live with music inside full of pain.
She picked up her guitar with broken string,
With blurry eyes she started to sing.
The rolling tears smeared the kohl on cheek,
She had never really had felt so weak.
His absence was more than what met the eyes,
She was soon to brush off her wounds and be wise.
The hand which would help her wipe the tears,
Had gone suddenly and it had been years.
Time flew faster than second’s hand,
Yet she would end up in the gloomy land.
Smiling felt like a suffering in disguise,
And she told herself nothing but lies.
Finally a day came when she faced a truth,
The long awaited words from her sweet mouth.
He would’ve been the happiest person hearing,
His daughter on stage, ready to sing.
