My most favourite remedy to kick start a remote was to hit it with any random thing.. the pencil cell got off its place, and rolled onto ground.. i glared at it totally annoyed, for my favorite program was interrupted and there was just no one to be blamed.. how one tends to like blaming onto someone else, even though there is just no fault.. the discharged batteries replaced, can solve it well, without all the irritation…
what if the remote was a person like me?
brutally thrown around the room or being fought over? trying to control each other or the system with me? different people prefer contrasting music playing around them, but why the controlling device is me? the helplessness of a remote to go from one hand to other, to change channels. to put on. put off.. or simply to mute..
its like living the life of a remote; the one who controls the system, is being controlled by others! how can one give away the rights so easily? a special classical romantic tune that lingers in the lovely room is suddenly switched to a heavy metal beats that shakes the windows and drops a vase into tiny bits of brittle glass pieces.. you can easily land up with those bits, and smear yourself with the sharp ends and let no one touch you.. but you just choose to lie motionless in the corner, waiting for someone to lift you up, and set the things moving!
it feels like, you have all what it takes to control your fate, but just not believing in yourself.. like a free-fall off a height…and being suspended in between…on on top..on on ground..just hanging in between…waiting for someone to catch hold of you! why be so dependent? isn’t life too precious to hand over to just anyone?
lets land on our own feet.. controlling the music we want to listen to! a suspended life in between expectations and living up to them takes a chunk off your time…lets live a boundless life… suspended like a free bird flying in the air… leading to its own happiness… wanting to land when he wishes to.. and be charged with motivation when discharged!
